Orange born artist Loretta Blake has been painting seriously for thirty years after a sell out exhibition in Sydney 1987.


Loretta's home in rural Australia has an extensive garden which provides subject matter for floral pieces which express vibrancy, spontaneity and exude colour.


She has had a distinguished career in Australia and overseas working in oils and waterbased paints and exhibits extensively on the east coast of Australia especially in Queensland.


Career Highlights include:

1995: Loretta included in an exhibition of Australian Women Artists for Australia's Bicentenary celebrations.

1998: Australian Artists in Switzerland

1998 - 2000: "The Desert Journey" travelling exhibition curated by the Orange Regional Gallery.

2005: Loretta resigned as a tutor of 12 years at the Mitchell School of Creative Arts, Charles Sturt University Bathurst and appointed as first Patron of FSMA
